Apprentice Multi Skilled Technician

Basic Salary: £23,500 - £25,500

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Mon - Thurs (3pm Finish Fri) - Overtime paid at Time and a Half

Location: North Larnakshire, Glasgow

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join a busy Bodyshop and Accident Repair Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in vehicle repair and restoration while studying towards a City & Guilds / IMI Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair (or equivalent), gaining the skills and qualifications needed to launch a successful career in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities of an Apprentice Multi Skilled Technician
  • Assist in the repair and restoration of vehicles damaged in accidents.
  • Learn and apply techniques in panel beating, welding, sanding, and painting.
  • Support the team in preparing vehicles for refinishing and reassembly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required by your apprenticeship program.
Skills and Qualifications of an Apprentice Multi Skilled Technician
  • A genuine interest in automotive repair and bodywork.
  • Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship program.
  • You will be currently enrolled on, or in the process of enrolling on a study course in Vehicle Accident Repair and seeking a placement within a Bodyshop / Accident Repair Centre.
  • Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is a plus.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science preferred.
