Job summary

Vertu Harlow Multi-Franchise Service Centre is recruiting an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician. You will gain hands-on experience in maintenance and repair work, preventing and diagnosing faults while learning from experienced technicians.

Ideal candidates have a passion for cars, a team mindset, and basic GCSEs. Training up to Level 3 in Automotive Repair is provided at manufacturer centers, with blocks of training weeks and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English and one other at grade 4/C or above.
• Enthusiasm for motor industry and cars.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in a dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles.
• Perform visual inspections and complete relevant documentation.
• Work with qualified technicians on diagnostic and repair tasks during training.
