Responsibilities

• Supporting the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment
• Conducting manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure functionality
• Working closely with developers and business users to deliver reliable solutions
• Over the course of your apprenticeship, you'll:
  • Complete a Level 4 Software Tester qualification, supported by a recognised training provider.
  • Receive structured classroom training and hands-on experience within our IT department.
  • Build practical skills in areas like automation testing, scripting, defect tracking, and agile development.
  • Gain professional certifications and a solid foundation for future roles such as QA Analyst or Test Engineer.
• You'll also be supported by mentors and a dedicated development coach throughout your journey.
• Upon successful completion of the programme, you'll have the opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time role within our IT team.
• You could progress into roles such as QA Analyst, Automation Tester, or Software Testing Specialist.
• With continued training and mentoring, you'll be able to develop towards Test Lead, Project Manager, or even move into areas like Cyber Security or Business Analysis.
