Veterinary Practice Assistant

This provides a great first step into the veterinary profession and a broad foundation for progressing into veterinary nursing.

This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week with no Saturdays and Sundays, out of hours or on call.

Salary is minimum wage.

Attributes Required:

• You are friendly and welcoming to clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
• You have a friendly, and polite phone manner, attending to the callers concerns, needs.
• Your personality is easy‑going working with a team, with a good sense of humour and can work well under pressure.
• You have achieved a minimum GCSE Score of: C/4 Standard Pass or better on Maths, English, Science GCSE's.
• You are ready to take on the challenge of learning new skills and translating learning into practice working in the clinic.
• You will bring enthusiasm and drive to your role. Your passion for service is matched with your love of pets.
