Job summary

DX in Cambridge offers an Urban Driver Apprenticeship where you train toward a Category C1 (7.5t) licence and Driver CPC while gaining hands-on experience in logistics and transport.

You will be mentored as you learn safe driving, vehicle checks, route planning, and customer service, with an eight‑month programme and potential progression to a full-time driving role on completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Hold a Full UK Category B driving licence
• Minimum 12 months driving experience
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, organised and customer-focused

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in logistics and transport while training
• Work toward Category C1 (7.5t) licence and Driver CPC qualification
• Learn safe driving, vehicle checks, route planning and time management
• Develop customer service and communication skills
• Progression to full-time driving opportunities on completion
