Job summary

247 Monitored Security in the West Midlands offers an apprenticeship to learn installation, maintenance and fault-finding of access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms. The programme is designed to develop hands-on skills with expert guidance.

Training is delivered at the Walsall centre, culminating in a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship with practical experience and nationally recognised certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving license
• Candidates should have Maths and English
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
• Apprentice should be eager to learn, develop and be confident
• Applicants from the Birmingham area are desirable

Responsibilities

• Train hands-on with real systems and work alongside experienced engineers
