Job summary

Chilman Fire & Security is recruiting a brand new fire and security engineering apprentice to join their team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms.

The apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, with block release at our Watford centre, one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

Qualifications

• 21+ due to company insurance policy requirements.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Willing and able to pass an enhanced DBS background check.
• Ideally located in Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire/High Wycombe area.
• Electrical skills would be a bonus.
• Comfortable working at height due to the role.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault-find on access control systems.
• Install, maintain and fault-find on video surveillance.
• Install, maintain and fault-find on intruder alarms.
• Install, maintain and fault-find on fire alarms.
