Job summary

Protec is recruiting an apprentice for its Oxfordshire team. This field-based role involves learning to install, maintain, and fault-find access control, video surveillance, intruder, and fire alarm systems.

Training will be delivered by Skills for Security with block release at Warrington centre; you will work toward a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship and build real skills for a future in the fire and security industry.

Qualifications

• Driving license preferred but not essential if you live in listed post codes.
• Basic electrics knowledge is a plus.
• Must be willing to pass an SPL background check.
• Comfortable working at height and willing to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault-find on access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms.
• Work alongside experienced engineers on site across Oxford and surrounding areas.
