Over the course of this three-year apprenticeship, you will learn to manufacture spacecraft panels and apply advanced production techniques. No strict entry requirements exist, though a Grade 3 in Maths and English is desirable. The company will provide all necessary training, and legal authorization to work in the UK is required.

During the Apprenticeship you will experience different production areas, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how a satellite is manufactured at Airbus Defence & Space. You will work in small teams or on a one‑to‑one basis to manufacture spacecraft panels, perform mirror bonding and treatments, and use advanced production techniques.
