The Role

Job Purpose / Summary

K&N, part of the Rubix Group, provide 24/7 engineering services. We repair, overhaul, install, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic equipment and cover a wide range of industrial equipment for customers across multiple sectors.

This Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship provides hands‑on training in maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of plant machinery and equipment. Delivered in partnership with PETA, the 48‑month programme includes one day per week of training in electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical pathways. Apprentices gain nationally recognised qualifications while developing practical skills in fault finding, maintenance, and safety compliance. Upon completion, progression opportunities include a Level 4 Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician apprenticeship or related engineering roles. The apprenticeship will officially commence in September 2026; prior to this, you will join us as a full‑time employee, gaining valuable on‑the‑job experience and a strong understanding of our business.
