Job summary

Busy Bees Maidenhead is inviting passionate individuals to start an Early Years Apprenticeship with the UK’s leading nursery group. You’ll learn through hands-on work and be supported by mentors to grow in childcare.

As an apprentice you’ll plan age-appropriate activities, follow EYFS, build relationships with children and parents, and progress through Busy Bees Education and Training with structured development and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
• Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences for all children
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure children’s individual needs are understood and met
• Contribute to the safeguarding of all children
• Work proactively toward completing your apprenticeship provided by Busy Bees Education and Training within the expected timeframe
• Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to your own development
• Show an enthusiastic, proactive, and open approach to learning new skills every day
• Provide your line Manager with regular information about the activities and progress within the room

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Maidenhead Norden Road, rated Good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 80 children and offers a small, homely environment complemented by a wonderful outdoor area in a quiet residential neighborhood. Our nursery benefits from good transport links and local amenities, making it accessible for families. We maintain strong community connections with local primary schools, Heartbeeps sensory and music groups, a local football coach, and a library bus service. Conveniently located on a bus route and near the train station, we also provide free parking for staff.
