Job summary

Busy Bees, the UK's leading nursery group, is offering an Early Years Apprenticeship. You will work alongside experienced staff to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities under EYFS, supporting children’s learning and development while completing your qualification.

This role provides dedicated mentoring, bespoke Learning & Development courses, and a clear pathway into a long-term childcare career within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for childcare and motivation to start a career in Early Years.
• Evidence of Maths and English achievements (GCSE Maths and English grade 3/D or above or Level 2 Functional Skills).
• UK resident for at least the 3 consecutive years to meet funding eligibility.
• Desirable Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
• Support the team to provide high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences for all children.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure children's individual needs are understood and met.
• Contribute to safeguarding of all children.
• Move through the apprenticeship programme within the expected timeframe with Busy Bees Education and Training.
• Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to your own development.

As an apprentice, you will:

Required Qualifications

Essential Criteria

• To meet funding eligibility, you must have been a resident in the UK for at least the 3 consecutive years
