Job summary

TEMP DENT DENTAL AGENCY LIMITED in the UK is offering an Apprentice Dental Nurse role. You’ll support clinicians, learn a Level 3 in Dental Nursing and complete the apprenticeship via Tempdent, while helping the practice run smoothly.

You will perform receptionist duties, greet patients, handle queries, take payments, book appointments and support the dental team to provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; apprenticeship pathway provided.
• Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification pursued during apprenticeship.
• Support clinicians and dental team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Reception: answer the phone and greet patients.
• Deal with patient queries and provide information.
• Take payments and process transactions.
• Book appointments and follow-ups.
• Sterilise and prepare equipment for dentists.
• Record and update patient records accurately.
• Support patients’ wellbeing and dental experience.
• Clean dental areas including chairs.
• Manage stock of equipment and supplies.
• Assist dentists and senior team to provide effective patient care.

Salary: National Minimum Wage — £15,392 to £24,454.04 a year

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you’ll support clinicians to deliver a range of high-quality dental treatments and help the smooth running of your surgery and the practice.
