Job summary

Dentalcare Group is seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join a friendly team with full training and support toward a recognised dental nursing qualification and GDC registration. You will work closely with clinicians, gaining hands-on experience in both clinical and patient-facing duties.

The role offers structured apprenticeship programmes, exposure to NHS and private services, and opportunities to progress to a qualified Dental Nurse upon completion.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team. You will work closely with clinicians and the wider practice team, gaining hands-on experience in both clinical and patient-facing duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of NHS and private treatments
  
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms in line with infection control standards
  
• Decontaminate instruments and manage cross-infection protocols
  
• Support patient care before, during and after treatment
  
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulations
  
• Support reception duties when required, including patient communication and booking appointments
  
• Participate in training and coursework as part of your apprenticeship programme
