The Dental Design Studio in Cromer is offering an Apprentice Dental Nurse role at 17–19 West Street, Cromer, NR27 9HZ. You will join a supportive team, receive structured training and study time to gain a nationally recognised dental nursing qualification.

You will assist the dentist during treatments, maintain clean surgeries, manage records and uphold high infection control standards while building a rewarding career in dentistry.

We are a busy dental practice with a supportive team of experienced dental professionals, all working together to provide excellent patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in dental nursing while gaining valuable practical experience and a nationally recognised qualification.

You will work alongside our experienced dental team and receive dedicated training and support throughout your apprenticeship.

What will you be doing? As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, your role will include:

• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease
• Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during a wide range of treatments
• Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are clean, organised and ready for use
• Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in line with practice procedures
• Ensuring all necessary materials, equipment and supplies are available
• Updating and maintaining patient records using the practice computer system
• Working closely with the dentist and wider dental team to ensure the smooth running of the surgery
• Responding promptly to requests and supporting the team throughout patient appointments
• Maintaining high standards of infection control, cleanliness and patient care
• We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in dentistry and the welfare of patients.

You should have:

• GCSEs atGrade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• A friendly, caring and approachable manner
