Job summary

Mydentist is offering an Apprenticeship for a Dental Nurse in the Bath area. You will support clinicians, greet patients, take payments, and help with appointments while working toward a Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification. The program is run through Tempdent with structured training and career development opportunities.

You will join a busy practice open Monday to Saturday, with professional development and mentorship as you progress toward senior roles in dentistry.

Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or equivalent are desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are needed.
Willingness to learn and develop through a Level 3 apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Support clinicians in delivering high-quality dental treatments.
Assist with reception duties: greeting patients, answering calls, and bookings.
Take payments and manage appointments and follow-ups.
Sterilise and prepare equipment for dentists.
Record and handle patient records accurately.
Support patients' wellbeing and dental experience.
General cleaning of dental areas and chairs.
Stock management of equipment and supplies.

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you’ll support clinicians to deliver a range of high-quality dental treatments and help the smooth running of your surgery and the practice. Training Outcome

At Mydentist, your dental career can grow in many directions. With experience, you could progress into roles such as Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Practice Manager.With Mydentist-supported training and clinical development, you could advance into Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist roles, helping deliver preventative and routine treatments.You may also specialise as an Orthodontic Therapist, supporting patients to improve the alignment and appearance of their teeth.Mydentist provides structured career pathways, mentorship, and ongoing training to help you reach your professional goals in dentistry.
