Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (with UK travel)

Salary: Apprenticeship wage

Duration: 15 months

About Nonsensical

We're a TikTok agency that gets brands cut through on TikTok. We've grown our own clients and communities to over 2 million followers and have hit 1 billion video views in the last 12 months.

We use these learnings to help brands reach new audiences, grow their TikTok following and engagement, and produce thumb-stoppingly good content that gets noticed on TikTok.

Our team is made up of TikTok obsessed experts who live and breathe the platform, and no two days are ever the same at Nonsensical.

The Role

We're looking for an Apprentice Content Creator to join the team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to kickstart your career in content creation and get hands-on experience in what life at a TikTok-first agency is really like. One day you could be filming vox pops in Birmingham, the next you might be on a studio shoot in London, and the day after you'll be editing content ready to go live.

You'll shadow our content creators, support on shoots, and learn how to direct, capture, and edit content that actually works on TikTok.

If you're obsessed with TikTok, love being behind the camera, and are eager to develop your skills in both filming and editing, this role will give you everything you need to grow.

What you'll be doing
  • Attend and film on-location shoots across the UK
  • Shadow creators on shoots, before taking the camera yourself to create TikTok-first content
  • Learn how to capture and edit engaging short-form video content
  • Support on larger campaigns and studio shoots
  • Keep up with TikTok trends, sounds, and editing styles
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorms and meme factory sessions (yes, that's a real thing here)
  • Bring energy, creativity, and a willingness to experiment every day
