Overview

Job Title: Catering Apprentice
Hourly Rate: £10.00
Location: Sunderland, SR3 4EN
Reporting to: Catering Supervisor
Hours/working pattern: 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri)
Contractual Requirements: Due to contractual requirements a DBS check is required.

We're currently recruiting for an ambitious Catering Apprentice to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells/PPP-IML on a full-time basis contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Catering Apprentice you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding customer service experience for our customers. You do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship!

On completion of the Apprenticeship, you will achieve the L2 Production Chef and become a qualified Catering Assistant.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Follow recipes accurately and cooking dishes to spec
  • Completion of food safety management documents
  • Upholding high levels of Customer Service
  • Maintaining high standards of Food Service
  • General Housekeeping
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
