The apprenticeship team are recruiting an apprentice administrator to support the enrolment, on-going learning and achievement of apprentices studying across a wide range of apprenticeship programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career and to develop your IT and admin skills by working with an established team where learners come first and knowledge is key.

You will be studying for the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship delivered by the MFT apprenticeship team. If you are looking to build your skills and experience in a supported environment, then we want to hear from you.

This is initially a fixed term contract for the duration of the Apprenticeship programme. On successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification, the role will become permanent.

Apprenticeship Eligibility Criteria
  • Have lived in the UK or the EEA for the last three years continuously
  • If working on a Visa, the remaining duration must cover the apprenticeship programme period
Main Duties of the Job
  • Provide support to the Apprenticeship Team for programmes using various Microsoft software packages and systems
  • Support exam invigilation, registration and certification
  • Provide timely information to all relevant external information systems
  • Handle queries relating to programmes and from learners and ensure information is passed on in a timely manner to the relevant people

Person Specification
Qualifications
  • A good general standard of education achieved, or equivalent
Experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Knowledge / Skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and the internet
  • Ability to work across different computer operating systems for input of data
  • Effective working within and across teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of using IT systems
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent

Salary
