Ballards LLP is offering an Accountancy Apprenticeship Programme in Worcester and Droitwich. Learn the foundations, work with real clients and build your accountancy career without needing prior practice experience.

You'll gain a broad grounding across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT from day one, learn from experienced colleagues and work towards a recognised professional qualification through a fully funded apprenticeship.

• You don’t need previous accountancy practice experience.
• Apprenticeship eligibility will be confirmed during recruitment.
• You’re curious about business and finance, comfortable with numbers and motivated to learn and build a career in accountancy.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and working papers for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Build your understanding of corporation tax and, where required, personal tax work.
• Gain practical experience in bookkeeping and VAT and learn how accurate financial information supports businesses.
• Work with colleagues and clients to gather information, resolve routine queries and keep work moving to deadline.
• Develop your technical knowledge, confidence and commercial understanding while working across our Worcester and Droitwich teams.

If you’re interested in how businesses work and want to start a career in accountancy without needing previous practice experience, our Business Services team gives you the opportunity to learn while doing real client work.
