Are you ready to lead bold change in one of Wales’ most dynamic health systems?

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an exceptional leader to Chair its Board at a pivotal moment for health and care in Gwent. This rare opportunity to drive innovation, shape future models of integrated care, and champion a vision that improves lives across diverse communities, from rural communities to urban centres.

As Chair, you will lead the Board in delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable services. You will be at the forefront of reimagining how care is delivered, working across boundaries to develop person-centred, preventative, and digitally enabled models that respond to the evolving needs of the population.

Your leadership will be instrumental in:

  • Strengthening partnerships with local authorities, the third sector, and communities.
  • Ensuring robust governance, transparency, and public confidence in the NHS.

You will be accountable to the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care and will work closely with executive and non-executive colleagues to deliver on the Health Board’s ambitious vision. If you are passionate about public service, committed to innovation, and ready to lead with integrity and impact, we would love to hear from you.
