University Hospital Southampton NHS FT is recruiting an Applied Practitioner Psychologist (0.5 WTE) to join the Adult Psychology service within UHS Trust. The post supports the MESH Vaginal Removal Service and works with MDT colleagues to provide psychologically informed care.

The role offers dedicated supervision, opportunities for professional development, and flexible working in a large acute teaching trust with strong links to university psychology courses.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology (or equivalent) per BPS accreditation.
• Formal HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.

Responsabilités

• Provide a psychological service to clinical teams, patients and families.
• Offer assessment and therapeutic interventions; provide supervision, consultation and training to medical teams.
• Embed psychological principles within patient care and connect to national specialist groups within clinical health psychology.
• Develop pathways around patient care in collaboration with UHS Adult Psychology and related services.
