Job summary

Pursuit Marketing in Glasgow, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to take an ML capability from prototype to production. This hands-on role focuses on building datasets, training models, and embedding outputs into CRM and sales workflows.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a £600–£700 daily rate, starting September 2026, on an initial 14-week contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial track record taking ML models from prototype to production.
• Strong experience with GCP, BigQuery and Vertex AI.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; able to translate model outputs for business teams.

Responsibilities

• Define clean, modelling-ready datasets and build validation around them.
• Train and optimise models across multiple B2B datasets, including ranking and weighting.
• Build scoring outputs, reporting and visualisations for commercial use.
• Retrain, test and refine models against live data as volumes grow.
• Embed outputs into day-to-day processes with CRM/ SDR teams.
• Help establish scalable ML infrastructure and repeatable processes.
