Job summary

Castleton Commodities International (CCI) seeks an Applied AI Engineer to join our Global Data Science team. You will help internal technology and commercial groups adopt our AI tooling, focusing on context engineering, tool configuration, and knowledge-base setup.

You will work hands-on with our GenAI platform, translate business needs into reliable AI-enabled solutions, and create reusable playbooks for safe, scalable use across traders and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical/quantitative field.
• 2+ years in data analytics, business analysis, AI enablement, or related.
• Practical experience with generative AI tools for workflow automation or analysis.
• Knowledge of LLM concepts: prompting, retrieval, evaluation tradeoffs.
• Experience with RAG, vector search, document extraction, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with traders, analysts, and stakeholders to identify AI-enabled workflows.
• Configure and support approved AI tools and platform capabilities.
• Design and maintain AI context, prompts, and reference materials.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and business value; iterate configurations.
• Create playbooks, templates, and reference materials for safe AI use.
• Communicate AI capabilities and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with applied AI developments and enterprise copilots.
