Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to develop remote-first AI agents across Europe. You can work from anywhere in Europe in GMT or GMT+1, with optional offices in London or Warsaw. You will build, test, and deploy production AI agents that power real business functions.

Role overview

ElevenLabs seeks an Applied AI Engineer for remote-first AI agent development across Europe. The role can be executed from any European country with GMT or GMT+1 timezone compatibility, with optional office presence in London or Warsaw.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents that run real parts of ElevenLabs' business, taking on real work and improving based on produced results
• Work forward-deployed to Marketing Engineering growth pods, finding problems worth solving and owning solutions end-to-end
• Ensure AI agents are reliable, measurable and safe enough for business dependency through evaluation and testing
• Collaborate with ElevenLabs' agents platform, orchestration tools and frontier models to deliver production AI solutions
• Evaluate LLM performance and address failure modes for systems built with LLMs beyond the demo stage
• Measure and validate outcomes of built systems, reporting whether what was built worked with validated data

Qualifications

• Python, SQL, LLM APIs and agent orchestration proficiency
• Experience shipping production systems that other people relied on, starting from vague problems
• Practical experience building with LLMs beyond the demo stage, including evaluation of failure modes
• Ability to measure and report whether built systems worked with validated outcome data

About the role

We're building agents that run real parts of our business, take on real work, and get better based on the results they produce. You'll build them with whatever is most capable right now: our own agents platform, the latest orchestration tools, and frontier models. The hard part is making them reliable, measurable, and safe enough for the business to depend on.

You'll sit in Marketing Engineering and be forward-deployed to our growth pods, where you'll find the problems worth solving and own the solutions end to end. You might be a forward-deployed builder, an applied AI engineer who has taken agents beyond the demo stage, or a full-stack engineer who is curious about growth.
