Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the sales force to provide fast-responding customer support, monitor and optimize Sealed Air products, systems, and applications.
  • Support Sales in promoting Sealed Air products and providing sales argumentation.
  • Contribute to the achievement of key growth objectives.
  • Implement customer training and quality audit programs.
  • Regularly monitor products/systems at customer sites and support development of new applications.
  • Improve packaging process system performance and product quality.
  • Complete robust packaging trials and technical reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement a wide range of technical solutions.
  • Manage projects as Team Leader or Team Member to ensure timely progress.
  • Liaise with European R&D and local Sales for a coherent customer approach.
  • Develop new applications for existing products through market needs analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Respect and suggest improvements for Safety and Hygiene guidelines at in-house, customer sites, and during travel.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree/NVQ or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience within the food industry or packaging materials.
  • Independent, able to work with a remote manager.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach.
  • Team player able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Prepared to travel extensively within the zone (UK & Ireland) and occasionally across Europe.
