Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK seeks an Applications Engineer to support the design of packaged systems in the Oil and Gas sector. The role entails defining project scopes, gathering design data, and collaborating with teams to develop process flow diagrams and equipment specifications. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope and objectives with the Sales and Process teams.
  • Gather basic design data from client documentation and meetings.
  • Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) collaboratively.
  • Create equipment specifications and scrutinize supplier quotations.
  • Prepare documentation for project handover to Project Managers.
