The Sales Applications Engineer plays a pivotal role in representing the company to external stakeholders. This position encompasses the development of projects, the sale of equipment, and the provision of vital technical and commercial support to both customers and the sales team. The engineer is tasked with supplying clients or agents with comprehensive technical and commercial information regarding the company's products and services. They will collaborate with the sales team to evaluate potential projects, determining product suitability and devising effective sales strategies. Furthermore, the engineer will prepare essential commercial and technical documentation for budgets and quotations, manage project costing, liaise with sub-suppliers, and address client inquiries related to quotations. The role also involves identifying and managing project risks, visiting customer sites to assess project requirements, preparing contracts, and compiling documentation for project handover to the Projects Department following successful quotation acceptance.
