Applications Engineer

Based Wakefield, West Yorkshire

An Applications Engineer is required for a busy engineering company based in West Yorkshire.

You will be responsible for the selection, preparation and delivery of pumping equipment estimates and quotations at the budgeted margin and within agreed timescales. You will also provide technical support to other parts of the business.

Qualified to HNC/HND or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, you will have previous experience within a similar role preparing and delivering estimates and quotations in a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will have experience of pumps or similar rotating equipment, including applications, performance curves, system curves, NPSH etc. Any experience of the water industry would be beneficial.
