Job summary

Picture More Ltd in London Hybrid is seeking an Applications & Automation Developer to design, build and deploy Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions, alongside core .NET development and in-house systems support.

You will work with users and stakeholders to automate business processes, write technical specs, perform unit testing, and help the team adopt new Power Platform, cloud and AI capabilities, contributing to a technology-led function.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying Power Automate flows for business process automation.
• Power Apps development experience (canvas and/or model-driven apps).
• Around 4–5 years in applications development.
• .NET development: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/Framework.
• SharePoint Online development: customisation, workflows or integration.
• SQL Server design and query writing.
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Write technical specs and take solutions from design through to deployment
• Carry out break-fix work and unit testing to keep existing systems stable

London (hybrid) | Permanent | £65,000 basic + bonus

Our client, a well-established professional services organisation, is investing in its Applications team as it shifts from reactive support to a more forward-looking, technology-led function.

The role

This role sits at the centre of the team's Power Platform work. You'll be building and deploying Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions to automate business processes, alongside core .NET development and support of in-house systems.

Day to day you will:

• Design, build and deploy Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions for business process automation
• Design, build and maintain other business applications alongside the wider development team
• Write technical specs and take solutions from design through to deployment
• Carry out break-fix work and unit testing to keep existing systems stable
• Work directly with users, operations teams and stakeholders across the business
• Help the team adopt new Power Platform, cloud and AI capabilities

What you'll bring

• Strong, hands-on experience building and deploying Power Automate flows for business process automation - this is the priority skill for the role
• Power Apps development experience (canvas and/or model-driven apps)
• Around 4-5 years in applications development (any industry background considered)
• .NET development: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/Framework
• SharePoint Online development experience - customisation, workflow or integration work
• SQL Server experience, including database design and query writing
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and experience working with RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)

Desirable

• Azure exposure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Azure AI services)
• ITIL incident/problem/change management experience
• Office development in .NET or VBA
• SSRS or Power BI reporting experience
• Exposure to sector-specific line-of-business systems
