Job summary

END. is seeking an Applications Analyst to design, implement, and support our enterprise application landscape, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Shopify, and Power Platform.

You will combine functional analysis with hands-on configuration, incident management, and training to deliver business solutions that improve operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support ongoing improvements, and ensure training materials and documentation are up to date.

Qualifications

  • Strong functional knowledge across Finance, Supply Chain, Retail or Operations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise application landscapes and end-user training.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and test cases.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver and support enterprise applications (D365 F&O, Shopify, Power Platform).
  • Manage incidents, changes and problems in line with ITIL processes.
  • Provide L2/L3 functional support and user training for deployed solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and business stakeholders to drive automation and improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third parties to resolve complex issues within SLAs.
  • Ensure training plans and documentation are maintained for new platforms.

APPLICATION ANALYST - FULL TIME - WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR

The Role:

To support END.’s business objectives through the design, delivery, and ongoing support of enterprise application solutions across END.’s application landscape, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Advanced Warehousing, Retail (POS), Shopify, and the Power Platform. The role ensures the stable and effective operation of these platforms by combining functional analysis with application support, covering incident and request management, functional design and configuration, project and change support, testing, and end-user training, to deliver solutions aligned to business needs and drive operational value.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
  • Create andmaintainapplication-relatedoperational reports
  • Complete all work in line with ITIL processes, in particular,Change, Incident, Service Request and Problem Management processes, as defined by IT Service & Operations.
  • Work with business functions andtheDevOps Team to ensureappropriate levelsof automation, capacity,availability,securityand continuityarein place for all application components.
  • Execute disaster recovery actions as outlined in DR Plan.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for application-related incidents, service requests, and user inquiries.
  • Provide L2/L3 functional support for D365 F&O, Shopify, Power Platform solutions, and integrated systems.
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, including data, configuration, and process-related problems.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and system integrators to resolve complex issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Monitor application health, interfaces, and integrations to ensure ongoing stability and performance.
  • Maintain application documentation, including support procedures, configurations, and known issues.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, test cases, UAT plans and solution designs.
  • Configure and optimize application functionality in line with best practices and business objectives.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, patches, and releases, including testing (UAT)
  • Provide functional guidance and training to end users to improve adoption and effective system usage.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, recommending solutions that balance usability, scalability, and supportability.
  • Work with project team to define development agenda
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders across the business
  • Work with external consultants in building a coherent solution
  • Assist in test script definition and support the testing process.
  • Oversee and support system integrations between D365 F&O, Shopify, Power Platform, and third-party systems.
  • Ensure training plans and training materials support the new platform.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and process continuity across integrated platforms.
  • Participate in integration troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deploy changes using automated CICD process.
Who we’re looking for:
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility to work outside of core business hours whenrequired
  • Experience supporting day-to-day operations, configurations, and business process alignment.
  • Strong functional knowledge in one or more areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, or Operations.
  • Understanding of security roles, workflows, master data, and reporting
  • Ability to troubleshoot storefront, order flow, and data synchronization/integration issues.
  • Understanding of data sources, security, and governance within the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting integrations using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
  • Ability to analyse end-to-end business processes across multiple systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for data, interface, and timing-related integration issues.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities across support and project-related activities.
