Job summary

A global MedTech platform is seeking an Application Support Technician to provide IT support for clients. This fully remote role requires 3+ years of technical support experience, ideally in healthcare. The chosen candidate will ensure high customer service standards while assisting users and internal staff with technical issues. The compensation package includes a basic salary up to £40,000, a 10% annual bonus, and other benefits.

Application Support Technician

Our client is a global MedTech platform that leverages AI to quickly & efficiently assess patients in a range of clinical settings, care homes & hospitals. They have won multiple awards & experienced high levels of growth over recent years and, as such, are looking for an Application Support Technician to join their UK team.

Working closely with a range of clients and internal staff, the Application Support Technician will be responsible for delivering IT support and ongoing maintenance, whilst providing first-class customer service.

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver IT support to new & existing customers, both in-person and virtually
  • Ensure customer service standards are met with every case
  • Work closely with internal teams (Quality Assurance and Development) to resolve service issues
  • Provide insight into creation, review and improvements of system documentation and client training
  • Assist in testing new versions of the product and provide insight into improvements
  • Support internal staff with technical assistance
  • Ongoing IT system maintenance & health checks
The Successful Candidate
  • 3+ years experience in a role providing technical support to clients would be ideal
  • Experience supporting users in the healthcare industry would be a plus
  • Experience deploying and managing applications through Apple & Google Play stores is also ideal
  • Based in the UK
