Job summary

Collinson Group is seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide technical and functional support for software applications and integrations across the organisation. You will ensure timely issue resolution, monitor performance, and collaborate with developers and end-users to deliver a reliable application experience.

The role requires a degree in computer science or equivalent, strong communication skills, and experience with ITSM tools such as JIRA and GitHub.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, databases and application architectures.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. JIRA) and version control (e.g. GitHub).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; customer-service orientation.
  • Understanding of SDLC and ability to troubleshoot using logs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support for software applications and integrations.
  • Monitor application performance and resolve issues within SLAs.
  • Collaborate with developers, admins and end-users to implement improvements.
  • Maintain SOPs, user guides and performance metrics.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance user understanding.
