An established university in the UK is seeking an Application Specialist to join its Clinical Informatics Research Unit. This role involves technical input, service delivery management, and collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance and timely resolution of issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science within healthcare and will play a key role in developing reports and tools. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Application Specialist to join a growing group within the Clinical Informatics Research Unit, focused on the prestigious Wessex SDE (Secure Data Environment) service. The post will not only provide technical input and resource to the team but also manage the service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a background in data science in healthcare, with a particular focus on service delivery to meet key KPI’s.
This is a fixed term post, with the potential to make permanent once the service is established.
The Application Specialist will report to the Data Science Lead driving forward the agenda within the unit.
