Job summary

Amazon is seeking an application security engineer to join the Application Security team. You will prioritize security needs, communicate clearly, and maintain a high level of focus as the application landscape grows.

Responsibilities include security reviews, secure architecture design, threat modeling, and collaboration with internal development teams across cloud, devices, retail, and services. AWS experience is preferred and ownership is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Experience with networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, C++, Go, Swift, .NET or similar OO language.
