Job summary

Success Talent is seeking an Apparel Designer to join its in-house team in Watford. You will work across SMU lines, inline collections and special projects, shaping collections for sport and streetwear brands.

With 5+ years in streetwear/activewear design, you will craft trend boards, sketches, and precise tech packs, collaborating with Design, Product and Sales to deliver seasonal ranges on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' design experience in streetwear, activewear or sportswear.
• Advanced Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong process from research and board work through to development and technical diagrams.
• Sharp knowledge of current sport and streetwear trends.
• Confident freehand and digital spec work — accurate, every time.
• Solid understanding of garment/fabric construction and pattern cutting.

Responsibilities

• Research trends, key items and cultural references season after season.
• Build mood and trend boards that set the creative direction.
• Sketch original designs and technical specs true to the seasonal brief.
• Partner with Design, Product and Sales to range-build each season.
• Produce accurate, detailed spec sheets and tech packs.
• Run fit sessions, feed changes back into specs and out to suppliers.
• Own development samples and keep deadlines on the critical path.
• Travel when needed to meet clients, brand owners and collaborators.

Recruiting for a group behind a portfolio of globally recognised sport and streetwear brands, and they are on the hunt for a Apparel Designer to join the in-house team, working across dedicated SMU lines, inline collections and special projects.

What you'll be doing:

• Researching trends, key items and cultural references season after season

• Producing accurate, detailed spec sheets and tech packs
• Running fit sessions, feeding changes back into specs and out to suppliers
