Job summary

CSI GLOBAL LTD is seeking a seasoned API Platform Lead to oversee enterprise API platforms on Azure across non-prod and prod environments, coordinating with customers and stakeholders.

You will drive API design and development using Azure API Management, .NET, and microservices, while enforcing security, governance, and efficient configurations.

Lead a team, plan roadmaps, and ensure successful project execution with strong communication and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' IT industry experience.
• Seasoned API Platform Lead for enterprise API platforms on Azure.
• Strong security experience: OAuth, JWT, API keys, Azure AD.
• Experience with multi-region Azure API Management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, SQL.
• Leadership: mentoring developers and stakeholder communication.
• Banking/financial domain experience desirable.
• Agile/Scrum project execution desirable.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned API Platform Lead to manage the development and deployment of enterprise-level API platforms in both non-prod and prod environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up multi-region Azure API Management platforms, with a strong focus on security, best practices, and efficient configurations. This role involves leading a team to build and deploy the API platform on Azure, collaborating closely with customers, managing stakeholder expectations, and planning for the successful execution of the project.

Technical Expertise:

API Design and Development: Proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying APIs using Azure API Management and other Azure services.

• Extensive experience with .NET framework, API development, and microservices (.NET core, c#, RESTful APIs, Microservices, SQL, Integration Patterns)
• Expertise in integrating APIs with different systems and services, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

Security:

Knowledge of API security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, API keys, and Azure Active Directory integration. Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Management and Leadership:

Project Management: Ability to manage API projects from conception to deployment, including requirement gathering, planning, and execution. Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers and engineers. Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Strategic Planning: Capability to align API strategies with business objectives and create roadmaps for API development and deployment.

Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve API-related issues.

• Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability. Data Analysis:

CI/CD Pipelines:

Experience in setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps. Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Scripting and Automation: Skills in scripting and automation to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Compliance and Governance: Standards and Compliance: Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance related to APIs, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
