Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading public sector body based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary contract, with strong likelihood the contract will move to permanent.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, and the hourly rate on offer is c.£16.50 umbrella (subject to experience).

The ideal candidate will be confident with Excel, with the ability to do VLookups and Pivot Tables.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Processing c. 100 invoices per day
  • Resolving queries from suppliers
  • Utilising Excel for reconciliations and analysis
  • Assisting with the weekly payment run
  • Matching PO with GRN
  • Assisting with ad-hoc purchase ledger duties
Experience and skills required:
  • Purchase ledger
  • Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Good eye for detail
