A leading global consultancy in Scotland is seeking an Investment Consulting Apprentice to join their team. This role will involve supporting client advisory activities, preparing investment advice, and performing administrative tasks essential for investment consulting. The apprentice will participate in a structured development program, gaining skills and professional qualifications, while working towards becoming a valued professional in the industry. Join Aon as an Investment Apprentice as a permanent colleague from day one and be play a vital role in meeting the expectations of our global clients through the delivery of high-quality service and advice.
Delivering client value drives everything we do at Aon. Likewise, it will drive everything you do as an Apprentice here. Your role will focus on assisting colleagues in preparing investment advice, market insights and detailed analysis for your clients.
Once you’ve completed the formal apprenticeship programme, you’ll continue to receive lots of support at Aon. We would expect you to be promotion ready within 24 months and you will continue to grow your career at Aon. You will also be able to continue your studies for the CFA1 qualifications. Alongside the interactive development programme we’ve mentioned above, you’ll have the chance to explore different career paths. Once you have completed your 18-month Apprenticeship, your training and development doesn’t stop there, you will continue your professional development taking on more client responsibilities.

We recognise the value for our Early Career colleagues of being in the office environment from the beginning of their programme. As a new early career colleague, you will spend the first 6 months based in the office to support your learning, development and progression. This will enable you access to support from managers, collaborate with colleagues as well as grow your network across Aon. After completing this initial training period, you will then have the opportunity to work more flexibly, spending at least 3 to 4 days face to face in the Aon office or with clients.
Our apprentices are on permanent contracts from day one. We welcome applications from candidates who have their own right to work within the UK where you can maintain and demonstrate your right to work throughout the duration of your employment. This may include pre-settled or settled status from the EU Settlement Scheme – or if you have applied and you are waiting for a decision.
