Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Norwich is seeking an AOHS Ward Clerk to support the Acute Oncology & Haematology Service. You will man AOHS Reception, greet patients and record attendance on Trust systems, with other administrative tasks described in the job description.

The role demands attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task across tasks and systems
• Experience with administrative tasks in a hospital setting (NHS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Typing and processing AOHS letters and EDLs
• Scanning PICC line documents onto ARIA
• Collecting and compiling AOHS data reports for local and national partners
• Accurate recording of patient data in real time and retrospectively
• Managing the CNS Admin mailbox for PICC/PORT appointments
• Acting as Ward Clerk for AOHS, Hoveton Ward
• Updating the Somerset Cancer Registry as required
