Job description
Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) Caseworker

Location: Remote (particularly during operational delivery in the following area: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, West Berkshire and Hertfordshire.)

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Vacancy Type: Full Time

Closing Date: 17 December 2025

We are seeking an Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) Caseworker to take ownership of casework from start to finish, ensuring our ASB Customer Commitments are understood and delivered. This exciting new role is within our Customer Experience (CX) directorate.

The role is predominantly home‑based; your location is secondary, but we especially need support in the areas listed above.

You’ll provide customers with an efficient journey, using sophisticated influencing and negotiation skills; prepare and present cases at court to an excellent standard. You’ll be responsive to changing customer needs, showing compassion when dealing with complex trauma, domestic abuse, hate crime, financial issues, and related experiences.

Collaboration with partners in Police, Local Authority, Mental Health Services, and external mediation and legal services is essential.

Legal action is often the last resort; we strive for creative solutions. When needed, you’ll prepare and present legal cases in court, and work with external legal partners to achieve the best outcomes.

We provide comprehensive training so all ASB Caseworkers achieve the best results. You’ll also travel to court hearings, make community visits, and participate in national duty processes for case triage.

Using data and behavioural insights, you’ll propose service innovations, develop expertise in ASB specialist areas, and build customer confidence via digital channels, adopting new digital tools.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience managing anti‑social behaviour cases
  • Experience developing and partnering with external stakeholders
  • Understanding of legislation related to housing, anti‑social behaviour, and safeguarding
  • Experience with the Harm based approach to ASB triage
  • Experience safeguarding and managing cases with specialist and complex needs
  • Outstanding communication skills, with ability to influence and negotiate outcomes
  • Skilled in adopting digital solutions and delivering change
  • Experience partnership working to meet customer needs in multi‑agency relationships
  • Experience preparing complex case files for court and presenting cases in civil or criminal courts
  • Ability to effectively problem‑solve and find innovative solutions for customers
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a complex caseload
  • Experience with mediation or conflict resolution services

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
