A global software and engineering firm in Farnborough is seeking an Antenna Electromagnetic Engineer. The role involves developing antennas and electromagnetic systems for both defence and commercial applications. Key responsibilities include EM modelling, supporting programme delivery, and collaborating on technical proposals. Essential qualifications include a degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering, with familiarity in antenna theory and electromagnetic metamaterials. We are working with a global Software, Systems & Engineering company in the Defence Sector, supporting them with appointing an Antenna Electromagnetic Engineer. You will play a key role in developing and modelling antennas and electromagnetic systems that support both defence and commercial applications, helping to advance innovative technologies and programmes. Day-to-day, you’ll be part of the Electromagnetics Group within the Advanced Materials and Devices team, supporting technical leads, managing your own workload, running work packages, and contributing to ongoing projects across the Company’s defence and commercial portfolios. You will work autonomously day-to-day, while also being an active member of the team.
Salary: £50-55k per annum + benefits
Location: Farnborough - hybrid (3 days per week onsite; 2 days WFH)
Working hours: 37 per week
Duration: perm, full time
Requirements: sole UK nationals or dual nationals
