Job summary

Haven in the United Kingdom is seeking an Animation Host to join the Entertainment Team on a full-time seasonal, fortnightly-paid PAYE contract from 16 November 2026 to 2 January 2027. The role includes daytime and evening events, performances in the interactive shows, and light entertainment duties.

Candidates should enjoy entertaining guests, have basic dancing/presenting skills, and be prepared to work six days per week with evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a keen interest in entertainments and a passion to develop their skills within the industry.
• Confidence and the ability to engage with guests of all ages is essential.
• Basic dancing, presenting and animation skills are desirable.
• Our cast members are required to work 6 days per week - Hours will include evenings and weekends.
• Working hours are approximately 39 hours per week.

• Supporting in the delivery of daytime & evening events.
• Performing as an Actor within Haven’s interactive adventure show; ‘Dinosaur Explorers’.
• Performing as a costume animator/actor within Haven’s ‘Seaside Squad’ events.
• Performing as an actor/puppeteer within Haven’s ‘Avenue Q-style’ puppet show.
• Light entertainment duties including tech, meet & greets and guest interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting in the delivery of daytime & evening events.

*All roles may also be required to deliver photoshoots & PR exercises. Additionally, Allroles are required to support in the delivery of Owner/charity events.

*Successful candidates will be required to provide ‘right to work’ documents to confirm they are 18+ and can legally work in the UK. Additionally, successful candidates will be required to undergo, and satisfactorily complete, an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
