Job description

Your journey will start as an Animal Nursing Assistant (ANA) working 35hrs a week average on a 5 on 5 off rota. The shift times for this role would be between 08:30-19:00hrs. Here you will learn the important key skills required to be a Veterinary Nurse, whilst supporting the team to provide affordable veterinary care. This role will lead to an Apprentice RVN role after a 12 month period. This means you should hold the required qualifications to enrol onto the nursing course.   • Applicants must have achieved at least 5 level 2 qualifications (equivalent to GCSE grades 9 to 4 or A to C), including English, maths and a science subject
  • The college is unable to accept candidates onto the L3 diploma in Veterinary Nursing unless they have either completed the L2 diploma in Veterinary Care Support or have at least one year of hands‑on experience working in a Veterinary practice
  • Passionate about animals – previous experience working with animals is essential
