Salary: £23,492.04 FTE (CC22)

Terms & Conditions: Full time (37 hours, 52 weeks), Support Contract

About the role

The opportunity has arisen to work in the heart of East Devon, within a growing, successful and vibrant team. Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an experienced, inspirational and confident individual to join our dynamic Animal Management team. The role includes looking after our Zoo Collection animals and supporting students and teaching staff. Duties include working with exotic species, small and large mammals, fish and birds in our state of the art animal unit.

Skills & Experience

Applicants must have appropriate academic, professional or vocational qualifications at level 3 or above in Animal Management or a closely-related subject and relevant vocational experience within the animal industry. Strong practical skills and experience with a range of animal species would be advantageous.

Hours of work

This role is on a full time basis, 37 hours per week.
