Contract : Bank Shifts

Hourly Rate : 32 per hour

About The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London receive bothUK andinternational patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites 6 theatres medical and surgical wards cardiac centre CDU level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities paediatrics diagnostic services physiotherapy and a dedicated day surgery unit.

Role Overview

Youll be an Adult RN with active NMC registration (no restrictions to practice) and proven clinical experience in Angiography / Cardiac CathLab at Staff Nurse level. You should be able to circulate and scrub for these procedures and be competent within the Angio lab. Additional responsibilities include :

  • Supporting the Angio nursing team with various procedures in the Angio department: EP / PACING / TAVI / Interventional Cardiology and Radiology.
  • Youll promote and demonstrate contemporary and proactive approaches to planned and acute Cardiac Catheterisation and Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology nursing practice and collaborate with education links facilitate the advancement of this practice.
  • Youll ensure the delivery of high quality evidence-based care.
  • Youll take responsibility for the effective utilisation of relevant resources.
  • Collaborate with the multi-professional team and provide direction and example for professional nursing practice.
  • Ensure that the patients interests are fully considered within the contexts of care and actively participates in ethical decision making.
Qualifications
  • NMC Adult Registered Nurse (First / Second level registration) - with no restrictions to practice.
  • Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies.
  • Short course or diploma in Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Nursing or similar.
