Job summary

ActAI is seeking an experienced Android Developer to own the Android client experience for AI-powered features. You will build production-grade apps in Kotlin, integrating chat, vision, voice and recommendations via backend APIs.

You’ll design UX patterns for streaming responses, handle retries and partial results, and optimize performance and memory. Collaboration with backend/ML teams is essential for robust API contracts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI features (LLM, vision, speech).
• Strong asynchronous programming with Coroutines/Flow.
• Familiar with REST or gRPC APIs and JSON data formats.
• Published production apps on Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Own the Android client experience for AI-powered interactions.
• Build and maintain production Android apps using Kotlin.
• Integrate AI features via backend APIs (chat, vision, voice, recommendations).
• Design UX patterns for streaming responses, retries, and partial results.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Implement analytics, logging, and feedback capture.
