Job summary

BJAK is hiring an Android engineer to build the native Android experience for our AI Neobank app. You will ship features using Kotlin, focus on clean user flows, fast performance and reliable mobile experiences used by real customers.

We expect 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin, strong fundamentals, Jetpack, Coroutines and Flow, and experience integrating REST APIs. Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and on-device ML is a plus.

The Role

This role is for someone who cares about clean user flows, fast performance, product quality and shipping reliable mobile features used by real customers.

What You'll Own

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services.
• Work with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile flows are stable, secure and reliable.

• Build AI-assisted mobile experiences only where they genuinely improve the user journey.

Location

This role is based in UK. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our UK office at least 3 days per week.

Language

English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
