Henderson Drake is supporting a fast‑growing consulting firm that focuses on finance transformation for large, complex organisations. They’re looking for an Anaplan Solution Architect who can take a lead role on major programs, help shape solution design, and guide clients through the full delivery cycle.

You’ll work closely with finance leaders, project sponsors, and delivery teams to turn business requirements into well‑structured Anaplan models. You’ll own solution design, advise on best practice, and support the build and rollout of planning and forecasting tools across global organisations. This is a hands‑on architecture role, so you’ll stay close to the modelling work while also taking responsibility for design decisions and overall quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design sessions and translate business needs into Anaplan architectures
• Provide direction to model builders and review build quality
• Partner with client stakeholders to shape planning processes and future roadmaps
• Oversee model governance, optimisation, and integration points
• Support project managers with scope, timelines, and delivery planning
• Help develop internal standards, templates, and reusable assets
• Mentor junior team members and support capability growth within the practice

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and delivering Anaplan solutions across multiple projects
• Strong understanding of finance processes across FP&A, CapEx, zero based budgeting, and related areas
• Ability to lead conversations with senior stakeholders and translate technical detail into clear, practical guidance
• Comfortable working in a consulting environment and managing multiple workstreams
• Anaplan certification at Model Builder Level 2 or above; Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner is a plus
• Background in finance, accounting, or data driven roles is helpful but not essential
