Job description

Purpose of the Role

To manage and evolve the Group’s Anaplan estate end-to-end—delivering high-quality model builds
for strategic projects, maintaining and upgrading existing models, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role
provides the technical backbone for our FP&A transformation, enabling accurate, timely and scalable planning solutions
across Group and Segments

Key Role Accountabilities

• Design, build and improve Anaplan models end-to-end, own new builds, re-engineer legacy models and ship high-impact upgrades, turning priorities into working solutions at pace.
• Partner with the Head of Transformation, align on what matters most, then lead the technical delivery. Working with interested parties to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Lead data flows and automation, own pipelines between Tagetik, Azure and Anaplan, and roll out Anaplan Data Orchestration (ADO) as a step-change that makes data movement faster, cleaner and easier.
• Improve Power BI reporting, knowledge of Power BI is not essential but would help facilitate a new wave of reporting that pulls together our different reporting systems into one easy to use solution.
• Make FP&A simpler and faster, systematically remove friction, automate repeatable tasks and harden processes so the team spends time on analysis, not administration.
• Run and simplify the estate, keep models healthy through cycles (upgrades, roll-forwards, structural changes), manage access and controls, and streamline admin so routine tasks take fewer steps and less time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education – A-Levels or equivalent
• Specialised Knowledge – 4+ years of Anaplan building experience, Power BI knowledge is helpful but not essential.
• Microsoft Excel skills – to high level. PowerQuery knowledge would be good but not essential.
• Professional Certification – Anaplan level 2 minimum
• Experience – in finance industry/services is a plus but not required.
